Decorate Your Home with Nomad Estilo
Normally I’m a traditionalist. I like to put up my tree and decorations 12 days before Christmas. This year everyone I know is doing it early, myself included. Many friends and family have been in lockdown in the UK, and it not only gave them something to do to ease the boredom, but has also made their homes feel happy and warm during a difficult time.

This week I’ve been filling my home with lights, candles, green winter foliage and the scents of orange, cloves and cedar. We decorated a wreath and a hanging candle holder, don’t miss the videos on our
YouTube channel and Instagram stories.
Our cheeky reindeers have also been very mischievous this week, but have found a home in our garden where they do have been covered in twinkling lights.
Putting up the tree has always been a party in my family. We drink bubbles, listen to Christmas songs and turn it into something truly magical. This year is special as it’s our first Christmas together as a family in our new home. My son is now old enough to enjoy all the traditions and activities and is more excited by the day. He keeps saying Happy Christmas to everyone, everywhere we go. I love that my love of Christmas is being passed on to him.

We had so much fun putting up our enormous tree and using all the beautiful unusual decorations from our collection. But I think my favourite space this year has been our entrance hallway and staircase. We filled it with Christmas cheer with a wreath on the door, mistletoe to kiss that special someone under, garlands and lights on the stairs and a stunning hanging candle holder, I don’t think I’ll want to take the decorations down in January.

We’ll be sharing more videos, photos and stories over the coming days of our Christmas home. What are your plans this Christmas? How are you going to create a magical home to enjoy with your loved ones? We want to see your ideas so we’ll be asking our followers to post their photos with the hashtag #nomadestilochristmas. We’ll choose our favourite on the 20th December and send the winner a special prize.
Best wishes
